Trueing Design Studio is a Brooklyn-based product design studio founded by Josh Metersky and Aiden Bowman. At just a year-and-a-half old, Trueing has already made a name for itself in the design world (ahem, The Future Perfect, Sight Unseen, etc.).

With a focus on using locally sourced materials alongside unique products, such as the dichroic glass seen on the Janus Lamp (yes, the glass NASA uses), Trueing creates pieces that start a conversation. This should come as no surprise, though, once meeting Josh and Aiden, who have backgrounds in engineering and art history, respectively.

Note-worthy is the durability of every piece from Trueing. So much of the design world is filled with mass-produced products which, although affordable, are often poorly made. Trueing's pieces are thoughtfully designed and created. Believe me, I insisted on seeing the backs of every hook and mirror to verify how they hold to (many thanks to Aiden and Josh for being so patient with this!).

All in all, Trueing Design Studio is built to stand the test of time.
